Jair Messias Bolsonaro (Glicério, March 21, 1955) is a retired captain, politician and current president of Brazil. He was a federal deputy for seven terms between 1991 and 2018, being elected through different parties throughout his career. He was elected to the presidency by the Social Liberal Party (PSL), to which he was affiliated until November 2019. Three of his sons are also politicians: Carlos Bolsonaro (councilor of Rio de Janeiro for the Christian Social Party), Flávio Bolsonaro (senator from Rio de Janeiro for PSL and caption commander in the state) and Eduardo Bolsonaro (federal deputy for São Paulo, also for PSL).
