Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six is an electronic game of the FPS genre and the first in the Rainbow Six series. The game was developed and published by Red Storm Entertainment for Microsoft Windows in 1998. It was later ported to Mac OS, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Dreamcast and Game Boy Color. An expansion pack, "Rainbow Tom Clancy Mission Pack Six: Eagle Watch", was released on January 31, 1999. The original PlayStation version is now available for download from PlayStation Store.
Rainbow Six takes place between 1999 and 2000, when an international anti-terrorist group is created to combat the growing problem of terrorism. The director is John Clark and the boss is Ding Chavez. An ecoterrorist organization called Phoenix Group, which later turns out to be running the company Horizon Inc, located in Brazil's Amazon rainforest, manufacturing an extremely contagious virus called Brahma that will be spread to the population during the Olympics. At the end of the game the team manages to infiltrate Horizon and capture John Brightling, the leader of the company.

White Masks are a terrorist organization in Rainbow Six Siege. Their motives are not made clear in the game but the faceless villains seem to be dangerous in every corner of the world. Their victims are all nationalities, religions, genders, and ages, causing Rainbow to be reinstated
