Resolved Applauncher crashes after login

As the title says the app launcher is crashing upon login. My login goes fine but the second the options window with the blue section pops up it crashes. I've done every fix I can find and saw someone with a similar issue that is resolved that mentioned an issue with spaces in their name. How can I fix the problem I'm having or change my name if that really is the issue?
